Career in Forensic Science

Do you wish to investigate what happens to people when they die as a detective? Those interested in human anatomy can consider pursuing a career in forensic science. Forensic science (criminalistics) applies science to criminal and civil law, especially during investigations. It blends physics, biology, chemistry, psychology and law—policing + science.
While much of the work is lab-based, forensic scientists are vital to investigations: collecting and examining evidence, analyzing data (including digital), documenting findings, and defending conclusions in court. Roles exist across municipal, state, and central agencies, as well as private labs.
